Event & Sales Support Specialist

LHH is partnering with a nonprofit association in the DC area to bring on an Event & Sales Support Specialist. This role involves supporting client services and event/sales operations, ensuring seamless experiences for event participants and sponsors.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong understanding of our event programs, deadlines, and deliverables
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing timely responses and exceptional service
Coordinate logistics for exhibitors and sponsors, including registration, scheduling, programming, and on-site support
Collaborate with the sponsorship fulfillment and sales teams to ensure smooth processes and alignment across teams
Support clients throughout the event lifecycle, including:
Communicating key updates and deadlines
Assisting with partnership and engagement opportunities
Reinforcing logistical requirements to ensure seamless participation
Provide additional support to the sales team as needed to drive successful event outcomes

Required

1–3 years of experience in event support, client services, sales support, or a related field
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management platforms or CRM systems is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Professional, client-focused demeanor and problem-solving mindset
