Responsibilities
Apply expert knowledge of FANUC G/M code, Heidenhain TNC 640, and Renishaw Probe and Laser systems, with proficiency in Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar tools
Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences
Collaborate with engineering and quality to develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for maximum efficiency and accuracy
Maintain and update CNC programming databases to ensure consistency and compliance with production standards
Diagnose and resolve CNC-related issues, coordinating tool/material flow, leveraging advanced troubleshooting skills and consulting with engineering teams as needed
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, production, and quality teams to coordinate assignments and resolve technical challenges
Work with vendors to source and order support equipment and manage all CNC programs across production to ensure alignment with operational goals
Qualification
Required
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; advanced technical training preferred
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of CNC programming experience, with expert-level proficiency in Mastercam and 5-axis programming
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Blueprint Reading, GD&T, and advanced inspection tools and methods
Problem-Solving: Ability to detect, isolate, and correct irregularities in machinery and equipment
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and competing priorities
Professionalism: Safety-oriented, mature, and detail-driven work ethic
