They are seeking an experienced UX Designer to lead the design strategy and execution for their mobile and web application, optimizing the end-to-end user journey and collaborating closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Players.

Responsibilities
Gameplay Optimization: Analyze and refine core game mechanics to reduce friction and latency perception. Design Heads-Up Displays (HUDs) that present critical data (pot odds, timers, stack sizes) clearly within the constraints of mobile screens
Transaction Flow Design: Overhaul and maintain user flows for account management, including Identity Verification (KYC), secure deposits, and withdrawals (Crypto & Credit Card)
Prototyping & Interaction: produce high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma to validate features such as hand history reviews, social integrations, and multi-table functionality
Usability Testing: Plan and conduct user research sessions with current members. Utilize quantitative analytics and qualitative feedback to identify pain points and drive iterative improvements
Design System Management: Maintain and expand the company design system to ensure visual consistency and scalability across iOS and Android platforms
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation of UI assets within the Unity engine environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating mobile application projects
Expert proficiency in Figma (including auto-layout, components, and prototyping)
Familiarity with JIRA and agile methodologies
Demonstrated experience in UX Research methodologies
Ability to plan and conduct mixed-method research (usability testing, user interviews, surveys) and synthesize that data into actionable design improvements
A solid understanding of poker mechanics (betting structures, game flow, positions)
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex workflows and design for error prevention in high-stakes environments
Strong ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders and document specifications for engineering teams
Preferred
Experience designing for Unity-based applications
Knowledge of cryptocurrency payment integrations and wallet management
Experience working in a regulated industry with compliance requirements
