Employment Litigation Attorney
Diamond Personnel is representing a prominent law firm seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney. The role involves drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and negotiating agreements while communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
Responsibilities
Draft motions, oppositions, and reply briefs, and attend hearings before judicial officers in state and federal courts and arbitration forums
Conduct and prepare for depositions
Draft discovery requests, discovery responses, and subpoenas
Negotiate and draft agreements, including settlement agreements and joint defense agreements
Assist first-chair attorneys before, during, and after trial by preparing pretrial documents, motions, and deposition summaries
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel in a courteous and thoughtful manner
Review and analyze documents produced by opposing counsel and materials provided by clients
Cultivate new client relationships
Qualification
Required
3-10+ years of employment litigation experience
JD from an accredited law school
Preferred
Experience with wage and hour cases, class actions, and PAGA representative actions is a strong plus
