Responsibilities
This person will work in a project team setting to develop electrical installation prefab shop drawings with the use of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Drawings will include power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems for multi-discipline projects (residential, commercial, healthcare, and education facilities)
Produce floor plans, 3D views, interior elevations, schedules, and sheets per project requirements
Use Microsoft Excel to create production documents for assembly and installation
Prepare drawings for various members of the project team
Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes
Experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but can adapt to some variety in work schedule
Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively within a project team
Can communicate effectively and good technical skills are required
Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
Preferred
Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering Technology, or similar preferred
1-5 years of experience working in an engineering or MEP environment preferred
