Responsibilities
Design and develop automated solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort within healthcare and pharmacy systems
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional solutions
Implement, test, and maintain code with an emphasis on quality, performance, and security
Participate in peer code reviews, testing, and process improvements to raise engineering standards
Troubleshoot and debug issues, delivering timely resolutions
Stay engaged with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation in automation and integration
Qualification
Required
Strong Java expertise
Passion for designing and building solutions that automate and streamline complex systems, processes, and workflows within healthcare and pharmacy environments
Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Ability to build scalable, maintainable applications that enhance healthcare operations and patient outcomes
Strong coding and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Eagerness to grow skills in automation, system integration, and healthcare technology
Genuine interest in automation and workflow optimization
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborative mindset with flexibility to grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment
BS in Computer Science (or related technical field)
3+ years of experience in software engineering
Strong skills in Java, SQL (MS SQL Server), and web application development
Familiarity with all phases of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices
Knowledge of Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOAP web services, JBoss, Eclipse, and related tools
Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server required)
Exposure to client/server systems, microservices, Angular (v4+), Blazor, and C#
Healthcare and/or pharmacy industry experience
