Chemicals

Responsibilities

Sample testing, i.e. viscosity, pH and density and determining adjustments

Communicate adjustments and results to other departments

Reduction of batch samples for spray-outs

Hand spray panels for defect analysis

Low-level analytical testing of intermediates

Check the calibration of equipment

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Follow all procedures and safety protocols

Qualification

Quality Control experienceChemical manufacturing knowledgeBasic mathematicsScientific principlesCommunication skills

Required

High School diploma or GED required

Two (2) years of Quality Control experience; chemical or coatings manufacturing environment preferred

Basic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles required

Preferred

Two (2) years of Quality Control experience; chemical or coatings manufacturing environment preferred

College chemistry and math desired
