Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process billing statements for projects in accordance with contract terms, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for construction and preservation services
Verify billing amounts and adjust discrepancies in accordance with contract terms, customer agreements, and project scope
Utilize ERP systems (preferably VistaView or similar) to track billing data, maintain accurate records, and support month-end close processes
Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends, variances, and potential issues. Work with the Controller to ensure all billing data is accurate and current
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding billing discrepancies or inquiries. Investigate and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
Work closely with project managers, operations, and accounting teams to ensure smooth billing cycles and accurate reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvements in the billing cycle, including automation, efficiency improvements, and error reduction
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles within the construction or related industry
Proficiency in ERP systems (VistaView, NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
Strong ability to manipulate and analyze data using advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and resolve customer issues
Strong ability to identify issues and take proactive steps to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
