Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day service and support for commercial insurance clients
Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and renewals
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner
Assist producers with account management and renewal preparation
Review policies for accuracy and ensure proper documentation
Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency management system
Coordinate with insurance carriers regarding policy changes, billing, and underwriting requests
Support claims reporting and follow-up as needed
Ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
2+ years of experience in commercial insurance customer service (agency experience preferred)
Active Property & Casualty insurance license
Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages and policy forms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with AMS / Vertafore products
Familiarity with commercial lines such as BOP, GL, WC, Auto, and Property
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
