Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in support of the company’s fabrication, welding, and assembly cells

Duties include but not limited to stocking FIFO and kitted carts with parts in required quantities based on level loaded production schedule, restock fabricated and purchased parts in finished part supermarket, maintain finished part supermarkets, coordinate replenishment, and communicate potential shortages with Buyer/Planner, perform daily 5S maintenance, other duties as assigned

Ensuring parts and materials are available to support fabrication, welding, and assembly cells

Stock FIFO and kitted carts with required parts and quantities based on the production schedule

Restock fabricated and purchased parts in the finished parts supermarket

Maintain organization and accuracy of finished parts supermarkets

Coordinate replenishment activities to support production needs

Operate a hi-lo (forklift) as needed to move, stock, or replenish materials

Performs tasks to JIs as trained

Maintains safe working conditions and 5S

Compliance with regulations, procedures, and policies

Ability to communicate effectively

Participate in company training programs

Works effectively in a team environment
