Dispatcher/ Office assistant
Advance Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Office Assistant to join their logistics team. This role is vital in coordinating transportation activities, managing freight operations, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine
Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods
Utilize GIS and GPS tools for route planning, tracking, and optimizing transportation routes
Maintain accurate data entry related to shipments, fleet management, and logistics operations
Oversee fleet management activities, including scheduling maintenance and tracking vehicle locations
Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems while practicing professional phone etiquette
Support supply chain functions by analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency
Assist with shipping documentation, freight billing, and 3PL coordination
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
Collaborate with transportation planning teams to optimize routes and delivery schedules
Qualification

Strong communication skills
Proficiency with transportation management systems
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
Prior experience working with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or AS400
Knowledge of GIS, GPS technology, and logistics software including SyteLine
Strong analysis skills related to supply chain operations and transportation planning
Experience in dispatching freight or managing fleet operations
Previous experience in shipping & receiving or 3PL environments
