They are seeking a Fiber Optic Splicing Technician responsible for all aspects of Inside Plant and Outside Plant fiber optic cable splicing.

Responsibilities
Fiber optic fusion splicing (includes building splice enclosures, placing inside wall mount splice enclosures)
Fiber optic mechanical splicing (Unicams or equivalent mechanical connectors)
Fiber optic testing (continuity, insertion loss, OTDR and fiber characterization)
Fiber optic troubleshooting for repair
Bucket truck operation
Lowering and raising aerial splice enclosures
Qualification
Required
