Responsibilities
Install, configure, and manage Apache Kafka clusters (on-premise/cloud)
Monitor cluster performance, availability, and security
Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and broker configurations
Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka brokers, producers, and consumers
Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions
Work with DevOps/Engineering teams to optimize event-driven architecture
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (administration & support)
Expertise in Kafka monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center, etc.)
Knowledge of Zookeeper/KRaft, schema registry, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams
Experience with Linux, scripting, and automation tools
Preferred
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
