Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
Manage multiple client engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients, including entity structuring, multi-state issues, and year-round advisory support
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations; prepare tax memoranda and communicate findings to clients and internal teams
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Review work prepared by junior staff and provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting tax
Experience with individual and business tax returns required
Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative, small-firm environment

Preferred

CPA license or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
Experience with Lacerte highly preferred
Exposure to high-net-worth clients is a plus
