Responsibilities
Manage and develop a high-performing Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, and onboarding new members, providing coaching and mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team culture
Partner with the Public Sector virtual account team to develop, own and execute the Public Sector sales strategy across the presales technical team
Become an authority in our software and services solutions, ensuring an in-depth understanding of features and benefits to effectively educate customers, gain consensus, and demonstrate value in addressing current pain point as well as uncovering future needs
Collaborate with customers to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate how our solutions can effectively address their needs
Work closely with sales, product development, and other teams to ensure alignment and provide valuable input into product development based on customer feedback and market demands
Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the cloud security landscape that a customer needs to plan for
Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis
Qualification
Required
Located in greater Washington DC metro area
At least 5 years' experience in senior solutions engineering or a related technology/SaaS role
Proven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Understanding public sector market trends and hyperscaler product competition
Strong technical background in the relevant industry/product area
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Capacity to train and educate customers or team members
Ability to manage multiple-concurrent sales cycles and projects
