Responsibilities
Design roadway, stormwater, and site development projects from concept through completion
Prepare plans, specifications, technical reports, and project documents consistent with project scope, schedule, and budget
Identify and solve engineering problems, proposing creative and practical solutions
Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work and meet client expectations
Review and provide feedback on the work of Engineer Interns and peers to ensure quality and consistency
Support quality control processes and uphold Jones Edmunds’ standards for technical excellence
Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions
Engage in continuing professional development and stay current on design standards and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) required
4+ years of progressive consulting or related professional experience (MS may substitute for 1 year; PhD for 2 years)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
