Provides high-quality, culturally competent consulting and training to entrepreneurs and small business owners in New Mexico
Supports clients at all stages of business development—start-up, growth, and expansion—with an emphasis on financial literacy, market readiness, and access to capital
Ensures services are inclusive and accessible to Spanish- and English-speaking clients
Strengthens relationships with community and economic development partners
Supports WESST’s mission of fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment across the state
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
Is bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to deliver high-quality consulting and training in both languages
Has 3–5 years of experience providing small business consulting, financial coaching, or entrepreneurship training
Understands small business operations, marketing, accounting, and loan-readiness
Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a statewide team
Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and digital learning tools

Is willing to travel within New Mexico and occasionally out of state
