Responsibilities

Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases (approx. 25% manual, 75% automation)

Manage test cases using Zephyr in Jira

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks such as Gherkin or Cucumber

Perform API testing with tools like Postman and Rest Assured

Collaborate with developers to review code, merge automation workflows, and ensure test coverage

Use GitHub for source control and GitHub Actions for automation triggers

Troubleshoot issues, update scripts, and ensure all tests pass before deployment

Work with mentors and QA leads for feedback and continuous improvement

Required

Strong experience in test automation (Java/Selenium preferred, but open to any programming language)

Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira

Ability to work independently, research solutions, and ask the right questions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to integrate with a busy team

Interest in building a long-term QA career

Preferred

ISTQB or SAFe Agile certification
