Facilities Maintenance Manager
Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee all equipment, property, and maintenance operations at their distribution center. This hands-on leadership role involves coordinating maintenance efforts, ensuring safety compliance, and managing a team of maintenance professionals.

Supervise and develop maintenance staff, provide direction, and manage team performance
Mentor and coach team members to support career growth

Hands-on repair of warehouse equipment including conveyors and forklifts
Track inspection history and manage maintenance schedules
Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Manage supply inventory, vendor coordination, and recycling programs
Plan and execute maintenance strategies aligned with operational needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse setting
3+ years managing facility, building, or maintenance operations
1–3+ years of mechanical repair experience (conveyors, forklifts, etc.)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, climb, twist, lift/move items up to 50 lbs
Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center
Extended standing or sitting required during work shifts
Preferred
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
Openness to learning new tools, approaches, and technologies
Strong customer service orientation and commitment to internal stakeholder satisfaction
Initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements
