Teach upper-level accounting courses that proactively support students seeking licensure and credentials for their careers (CPA license preferred) or various tax courses (both undergraduate and graduate)
Mentor and serve as a role model for minority students
Work with students from a range of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds

Applicants are expected to have received their PhD by Fall 2026
Applicants should demonstrate strong research training and the potential to publish in top-tier academic journals in accounting and related fields
Ability to teach upper-level accounting courses at a level that proactively supports students seeking licensure and credentials for their careers
Understanding of how AI and big data are impacting financial reporting and research
