Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Lead and support the continued implementation and optimization of NetSuite across finance functions
Partner with IT and external consultants to tailor the system to our healthcare insurance business needs
Train team members and ensure adoption of NetSuite best practices
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency within NetSuite
Work closely with the CFO on financial planning, budgeting, and audit preparation
Provide accurate and timely financial insights to support decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, compliance, and care management teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Prior experience in a healthcare insurance or Medicaid-focused organization is a strong plus
Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, ideally including system implementation
