Responsibilities
Lead engineering best practices around code quality, testing, modularity, and documentation to improve team velocity and maintainability
Design, implement, and optimize key components of our robotics software stack in C++ and Python
Lead the integration of machine learning algorithms into real-time systems, ensuring low-latency, high-reliability performance
Develop efficient and scalable data pipelines using Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and scikit-learn
Drive architectural decisions across perception, planning, and control systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ML, hardware, product) to define and execute on roadmap goals
Profile and optimize performance-critical code on CPU and GPU
Ensure robust software quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in robotics or related domains
Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (Python is a plus)
Experience integrating machine learning models into embedded or real-time robotic systems
Familiarity with robotics middleware (e.g., ROS, ROS2), motion planning, and hardware interfaces
Solid grasp of system-level software design, concurrency, memory management, and optimization
Comfortable operating in a Linux-based development environment
