Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret viewer data (viewership metrics, audience demographics, and engagement) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth across our networks
Create timely reports and dashboards for key stakeholders and executives across our Programming, Marketing, and Ad Sales Teams
Present findings and provide recommendations to leadership team to support the implementation of business solutions and initiatives
Collaborate with various teams to ensure data needs are met and insights are integrated into workflows
Drive the execution of data strategies for the channel, identifying trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders to improve performance
Manage the weekly end-to-end data pipeline for FAST platform metrics including data extraction, transformation, and loading
Run and maintain Python scripts to standardize data from various partner platforms for ingestion into our data warehouse
Collaborate with leadership partners to define goals, develop hypotheses, and establish research plans addressing key business challenges
Serve as the primary point of contact for all FAST data inquiries and ad-hoc reporting requests from stakeholders, including Digital Strategy, Marketing, and Sales
Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our reporting, identifying and investigating anomalies such as missing values, odd patterns, or significant deviations
Adhere to the issue resolution process by identifying the root cause, notifying stakeholders with a timeline for correction, resolving the issue, and confirming the resolution
Collaborate with the Data Platforms team to maintain and enhance the logic of the FAST data pipeline in Snowflake
Manage and update mapping tables to ensure consistent channel naming and structure across all platforms
Conduct market research on emerging trends and technologies (e.g., AI tools) to provide strategic recommendations and shape the product roadmap

Required

5-7 years of experience collaborating with multiple teams to identify, analyze, and interpret data in a fast-paced environment
Experience identifying data trends, patterns, and anomalies while leveraging visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Strong ability to identify trends and patterns in data and translate findings into actionable business outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data and present to diverse audiences with clarity and confidence
Ability to frame ambiguous or unstructured business problems into clearly defined requirements with minimal oversight
Understanding of statistical methods such as regression, forecasting, and experimentation frameworks
Great problem-solving instincts to tackle complex data challenges from start to finish
Fluent in SQL, with the ability to navigate and manipulate large datasets — ideally in a cloud environment like Snowflake
Hands-on with Python, R, or other scripting languages using it to transform data, automate processes, and streamline workflows
Familiarity with the FAST/CTV ecosystem and associated performance metrics

Preferred

Experience in the digital media, streaming, or broadcast industry
Direct experience with digital analytics platforms, such as Adobe Analytics
Experience managing manual ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
Background in statistics, mathematics, or economics
Hands-on experience working with event/clickstream data from web and mobile applications
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and interpreting results with statistical rigor
Familiarity with causal methods (propensity score matching, difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, etc.)
