Responsibilities
Engage & Educate: Proactively approach supermarket shoppers to share samples and tell the story of our Italian product line
Live Demos: Prepare and present simple food demonstrations (e.g., pasta finishing, cheese pairings, or antipasti assembly) following food safety protocols
Drive Sales: Convert "tasters" into "buyers" by communicating the value and authenticity of the product
Set Up/Pack Down: Manage the demo station, ensuring it looks "bellissimo" and remains clean and inviting throughout the shift
Reporting: Provide brief feedback on customer reactions and inventory levels after each event
Qualification
Required
Fluency in English is essential
High energy, a warm 'hospitality-first' attitude, and the ability to work independently
Must have (or be willing to obtain) a Food Handler's Permit/Certification
Ability to stand for 4–6 hours and transport a portable demo stand
Preferred
Fluency in Italian
Previous experience conducting food demos, ideally within a supermarket or retail environment
A deep appreciation for Italian food culture
