Responsibilities
Develop and execute defense strategies for general liability, premises liability, and commercial disputes
Argue motions, attend hearings, and lead discovery in both state and federal courts
Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses
Maintain consistent communication with insurance claims examiners and corporate risk managers
Manage mediations and lead trial preparation for complex casualty cases
Qualification
Required
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing
Superior brief-writing skills and persuasive oral advocacy
Ability to work full-time in a professional, onsite office setting in Raleigh
Preferred
Insurance Defense preferred
