Responsibilities
Use technical materials knowledge, critical thinking and collaborative skills to deliver creative material solutions for performance and lifestyle Apparel product
Develop and test a material from inception to production
Manage multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines across multiple seasons
Work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
Network and apply internal and external resources
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Textile Science, Apparel or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
Minimum of 1 year experience of an apparel product creation role or similar industry experience
Technical materials knowledge, including yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing techniques
Knowledge of knits, wovens, ribs and print
Experience partnering with vendor to develop and test a material from inception to production
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Digital literacy, including Microsoft office software and Product Data Management
Experience managing multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines across multiple seasons
Strong information seeking-skills and a drive to make things happen
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
Ability to network and apply internal and external resources
Ability to travel up to approximately 10% of the time
Preferred
Experience working with performance materials is highly desired
Knowledge of industry material trends
