Responsibilities
Constructing, fabricating, installing and dismantling form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories, rod-busting and concrete finishing
Ability to read and interpret instructions
Document, plan, and perform work activities independently
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform all other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting
Extensive knowledge of industrial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and adherence to applicable building codes and must be proficient at reading blueprints
Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions
Must be able to complete and complete the paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc. and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors
Must be willing to embrace the company's core values
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Must be 18 years of age or older
Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following: Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day, Standing, Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
Use of respirator if position requires
If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search
