Tactical Radios Field Service Representatives

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging training sessions that include lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and field exercises
Facilitate courses and product support at our L3Harris locations, customer facilities near the San Diego areas and other customer sites worldwide
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tactical communications solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers
Demonstrated ability to master and teach complex technical systems
Strong presentation and communication skills, tailored for a variety of audiences
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative environment
Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, including potential overtime as necessary
Ability to pass a background check and to obtain a US Secret level clearance
Work closely with the Account and Program Management team to achieve business goals though customer interactions and support

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Radio repair experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Radio Repair experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Radio Repair experience
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Demonstrated ability to master and teach complex technical systems
Strong presentation and communication skills, tailored for a variety of audiences
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative environment
Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, including potential overtime as necessary
Ability to pass a background check and to obtain a US Secret level clearance

Preferred

Knowledge of L3Harris/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-160, RF-410D, AN/PRC-167) and VSAT terminal products
RF/Radio or related communications experience preferred
Experience running Factory Test Stations
Knowledge of Product Service database (Oracle EBS)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Willingness to work and learn in fast paced production environment
Experience with Windows office suite
International travel/experience
Knowledge of network systems administration, wireless networking, and IT support, including networking router technologies
