Family Engagement Data Analyst - Office of Performance and Accountability - (N177-2526)

Hartford Public Schools is seeking a Family Engagement Data Analyst to support the Office of Performance and Accountability. The primary function of this role is to extract and analyze data from student information systems to create reports and support data-driven decision-making related to community partnerships.

Education

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze and track data for the development of on-going progress management of the districts’ Strategic Operating Plan within Priority 3
Support analytic project planning, design and implementation within the Office of Strategic Partnership and Fund Development
Create data sets from raw files, bringing together longitudinal and immediate data for a variety of indicators
Uphold the highest data security standards
Monitor HPS Office of Strategic Partnership and Fund Development data needs and challenges, proactively looking for ways to enhance data-driven decision-making and workflow
Use data tools and dashboards to facilitate deeper understandings of community partners and serve as a support for the Office of Strategic Partnership and Fund Development
Participate in various cross-functional district teams, providing analytical, communication, and project management expertise to priority district projects
Develop and maintain a 'Help Desk' process for users of data tools
Support the Department and the District in project-based and on-going work of the department, as needed
Performs other assignments as requested by the supervisor

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a role requiring data analysis, relationship management, and consultative skills
A bachelor's degree in education, measurement, psychology, social science, public policy, economics, or related field including quantitative coursework or combination of education and experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work independently with good organizational skills and the ability to be flexible and handle changing priorities
Ability to handle stressful situations and work within difficult time constraints
