Responsibilities

Apply formal training and hands-on experience to service a variety of clinical equipment in a healthcare setting
Repair, maintain, and calibrate complex medical devices, including respiratory/ critical care equipment, ventilators, and anesthesia machines equipment experience
Work within hospitals or clinical environments to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards
Provide leadership by mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical development
Use proactive troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently
Communicate effectively with clinical staff, manage time across multiple priorities, and deliver exceptional customer service
Serve as a trusted technical resource, ensuring high-quality service and support for healthcare professionals
Uphold patient safety and operational excellence by maintaining accurate service records and adhering to all regulatory requirements

Required

Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology- HTM/ Biomed setting and basic knowledge of networking theory and substantial knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation and skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision
Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare hospital setting
Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as, but not limited to: Avaya/ Phillips V60 Ventilators (or other manufacturers), Dräger Anesthesia or Training
