Responsibilities
Promote AI-powered search solutions within new local government and education accounts while deepening engagement with existing strategic accounts
Position yourself as a trusted advisor, helping users and customers harness the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights
Articulate the value and capabilities of our advanced commercial features while nurturing our Open Source offerings
Identify and develop new use cases that showcase how Elastic’s solutions enable local government and educational institutions to operate more efficiently and intelligently
Work closely with various Elastic business functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Proactively identify new business opportunities within local government and education sectors, successfully navigating complex sales cycles
Develop a comprehensive business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience with a proven track record in selling technology solutions, preferably related to Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud
Experience in local government and education sales, specifically within Southern California
Proficiency in solution selling, with the ability to articulate the value of technology to customers and effectively address their challenges
High energy levels, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing environments
Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using Salesforce (SFDC)
Preferred
Experience selling within an Open Source model
