Credit Analyst
Midwest Heritage is a company focused on customer care and employee growth. They are seeking a Credit Analyst I responsible for conducting credit analysis for less complex credits and assisting on complex credits in the Ag/Commercial Department, aiming to assess credit quality and minimize risk on various types of loans.

Responsibilities
Analyze, evaluate and assess financial statements and other related data/information including projections, sensitivity analysis, cash flow, repayment collateral, loan relationships, problem credits, etc. to determine credit worthiness of less complex credits and assist in complex credits per loan policy
Assist in obtaining information from customers and preparing loan presentations to lender and/or assist with presentation to loan committee
Identify risks and make recommendations to lenders regarding findings and working with customers, issues, data, etc
Evaluate and monitor various industries, market trends, economic risks, and other related factors and make recommendations to lender and/or loan committee including ways to improve risk management processes
Prepare and present basic credit write-ups and assist in complex credits. This will include a summary of credit risks, identification of loan policy exceptions, proposed improvements to loan structure, and assessment of the loan rating
Assist in imaging and maintaining the bank’s tickler (document collection) system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient computer skills. Microsoft Office preferred (Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word.)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner
Strong detail orientation including the ability to review forms for accuracy and completeness
Preferred
Experience in credit administration and risk analysis preferred
Formal financial analysis/credit administration training preferred
Experience with Abrigo Lending Software and Sageworks is preferred
General knowledge of Agriculture industry and farm operations is helpful, but not required
