Responsibilities

Participate on or lead a project that helps improve the Gorilla Glass operations which would include, but not limited to, the following steps:
Analyze the existing process or procedure
Evaluate and recommend an approach using Advanced Analytic tools to improve the current state
Coordinate and execute a project from start to finish
Report out on the project in terms of the expected results and what improvements were made
Support day-to-day operations and understand the overall organization of the Gorilla Glass Environment team (forecasting, CI and market intel) and as practical during the internship
Learn about the organization and the functions to understand how the division operates

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Quantitative discipline, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location: Corning, NY

Preferred

Experience with forecasting models, time series analysis, and predictive analytics is preferred
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
Knowledge of supply chain or operations forecasting
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Adaptability and eagerness to learn
Attention to detail and organizational skills
