Responsibilities

Work to understand the market's product requirements and enable their delivery, including competition

Based on the product’s lifecycle, create a maintenance plan to manage associated products

Work alongside the product owner and development teams to help create well-maintained, refined, and prioritized product backlogs that include consistent, measurable 'definitions of done.'

Define product release plans, including measuring their progress towards completion and tracking the predictability

Manage prioritization of market expansion or establishment, including coordination with marketing, sales, training, support, and partners, and identify translations and territorial approval requirements

Assist with specific large-opportunity projects

Persuade and influence others through strong communication

Develop and demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise

Required

BS in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Product Management, or related field

At least 5 years of Product Management experience in in-car video and/or telematics hardware, firmware, applications, and solutions development

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate the product roadmap & vision to the development team, refine product backlog items, and report progress to a broad audience, including the business, product management stakeholders, and the development teams

English language skills at a level allowing efficient and effective communication

Self-motivated, positive attitude, an ability and desire to motivate others

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
