Required

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Airport Operations: Knowledge of the concepts, principles, methods, and procedures of airfield, air terminal, commercial or general aviation, landside functions and operations, and security operations subject to FAA, TSA, state or military rules and regulations

Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one's knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary

Candidates for this class must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations (49 CFR 1542), which requires fingerprinting and a background check

Employees are required to possess a current Alaska driver's license

Employees may be required to maintain first aid certification
