Organizational Development Manager

Responsibilities
Studies organizational structures, business and operating procedures, reporting relationships, and team interactions
Analyzes results of needs assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews and identifies organizational weaknesses or areas for improvement
Creates interventions meant to address performance issues or gaps and monitors program progress to completion
Responsible for management or executive development programs
Implements learning and development policies and programs, which may include technical training, management or organizational development, sales training, train-the-trainer programs, or learning management
Coordinates with managers to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs, develops training courses, curriculum, or materials, and delivers and evaluates training sessions
Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted
Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs)
Assesses training effectiveness and modifies programs to improve results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development/Leadership or related field of study
4 years or more of experience in organization development, learning and development or related experience
Able to travel to support business development needs
Comprehensive knowledge of organization development concepts and principles
Ability to foster teamwork
Ability to develop and mentor others
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to influence others
Problem/situation analysis, analytical thinking skills, strategic thinking skills, and project management skills
