Responsibilities
Prepare monthly sales/use tax calculations, returns, and related journal entries
Maintain accurate tax records, schedules, and a monthly tax calendar to ensure timely filings
Review and analyze sales data from our ERP system (PDI)
Research and respond to federal, state, and local tax notices
Reconcile tax discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account details
Uphold SOX and internal control requirements
Qualification
Required
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong reading comprehension to interpret tax notices and determine proper action
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize detailed information and manage multiple tasks
A collaborative team player with strong problem‑solving skills
