Responsibilities
Ability to gather and understand requirements by studying features/ user stories created for requirements and work on implementing them
Design and development for the change requests from client
Ability to analyze existing data flow and suggest for any enhancements/ improvements based on technical expertise
Preparing test scenarios/ test cases for the user stories and sharing the unit testing results as part of the development completion
Monitor data extract, transform, and load (ETL) jobs, pipelines and work to fix the job failures
Troubleshooting to identify data issues and solving any data discrepancies and providing business intelligence insights
Provide support to the users on any data related questions/issues reported during UAT and PROD cycles
Qualification
Required
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in Database and ETL design concepts
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in T SQL
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in SQL server Analysis server
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in Azure Synapse – including creating scripts for ETL using Python(pyspark)
Expertise/ at least 7+ years of experience in Experience with excel – includes creating data pivots to different sources for analyzing
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
Fluent in DAX queries (good to have)
Good to have prior experience with Microsoft projects, process, and tools (like VSTS, VSO)
