Responsibilities
Project leadership: manage and ensure the success of projects from inception to completion, meet client expectations, and deliver within budget and schedule
Mentor: Provide performance guidance to managers and staff, fostering professional growth
Pursue business opportunities: Seek and secure large-scale contracts for projects in various infrastructure sectors
Client Relations: Develop lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and pursuing follow-on work
Strategic Contributions: Play a pivotal role in contract management and resource allocation to ensure the profitability of the department
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri, PE in Illinois and other states considered a plus
At least a minimum of 15 - 20 years' post education experience managing complex projects and 10 years in a leadership role
Educational Requirements: BS Civil Engineering
Advanced proficiency with civil engineering principles, practices, processes, design/build, standard of care, permitting and project work-related issues
Physical Requirements: The employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear. Sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 Lbs. are also core physical requirements. Must also be able to drive to jobsites when necessary
Preferred
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus
