InternLamsco West, Inc. is offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in IT support, network administration, and hardware management. The IT Intern will provide technical support to internal users, assist with Active Directory management, and help maintain IT hardware and documentation.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support to internal users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Assist in the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory (AD)
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11 operating systems
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of various hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets
Create and update technical documentation for IT procedures and common support issues
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with Windows OS: Basic knowledge of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments
Active Directory Basics: Understanding of user and group management in Active Directory
Hardware Proficiency: Experience or strong understanding of installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Initiative: Ability to work without supervision and take initiative to complete IT project task lists
Preferred
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Spiceworks)
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts
Experience with creating/modifying Group Policies in Active Directory (AD)
