IT Operations Specialist II

Responsibilities

Act as the onsite IT support resource, responding to employee requests and incidents
Ensure conference rooms, IT systems, and shared office equipment are functioning properly
Assist with IT asset management, including device provisioning, check-in/check-out, and tracking
Partner with IT and Security teams to follow access control and compliance policies
Provide setup and basic troubleshooting for conference room AV technology and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
Assist with small to mid-sized corporate meetings and events, including setup and technical support
Escalate complex AV or event issues to senior specialists or vendors as needed
Provide in-person support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Help employees with device setup, account access, and secure remote connectivity
Deliver professional, customer-focused service when working with employees at all levels

Required

1–2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience in a corporate environment
Strong troubleshooting skills for common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
Knowledge of IT asset management practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management)
Familiarity with device management tools such as JAMF or Intune
Basic understanding of IT security best practices
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL 4 Foundation, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
