Responsibilities

Ability to maintain and organize documentation, including discovery materials, deposition notices, exhibits, and deadlines (training will be provided)
Comfortable reviewing pleadings and tracking case progress to ensure deadlines are met
Willingness to assist with managing discovery files, deposition schedules, and related materials
Basic understanding of how to track case status and upcoming deadlines
Familiarity with legal databases and litigation software; Microsoft Excel knowledge required (additional software skills are a plus)
Ability to assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting documents, correspondence, motions, and pleadings
Eager to learn and assist with trial preparation and provide support during trials
Capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients
Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules is a plus
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail

Required

Bachelor's degree required
1-3 years' experience in a law firm is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Well-organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
Strong organizational skills with a focus on case and project management
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
Proactive and solution-oriented, demonstrating good judgment and initiative
Must have keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and solutions-oriented thinking
Ability to work under pressure with composure and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion and adapt to changing work situations

A paralegal certificate is preferred, but not necessary for applicants who are eager to learn and grow within the firm
Experience in a legal environment is a plus
