Bohler is a land development consulting firm seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Fairfield, CT office. In this role, you will be responsible for site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and ensuring design quality and compliance while collaborating with project leaders and junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites

Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses

Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance

Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers

Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software

Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting (we will also consider candidates with 1+ years of experience for a Design Engineer position)

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software

Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements

Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills

EIT required or in progress

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

PE license beneficial
