The Pharmacy Service Representative will act as the patient’s advocate, ensuring that prescribed drug therapy and care plans are followed while maintaining effective communication with patients regarding their medication delivery and appointment schedules.

Responsibilities
Communicates with patients to ensure proper delivery of medications (both acute, IVIG and specialty) for scheduled infusion appointments
During communication with patients, understand how to properly complete assessment
Assists with determining patient availability for the Digital designation and will assist in education for the patient on using the Digital platform
Ensures that patients receive notifications and understand appointment schedule
Responds to patient calls timely and appropriately
Obtains and updates necessary patient demographic and related data according to policies and procedures
Data enters relevant communications in progress notes of pharmacy operating system
Assists with picking and packing products in preparation for shipping as requested
Attending meetings and other functions necessary to perform duties and assist in business development for the Company, including assisting in launching a certain data collection software
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Proficient in computer program applications, knowledge, and skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must possess a current and in good standing pharmacy technician license in state of employment
Healthcare experience required
Clear, concise communication
Proven success across past career positions
Proficient in computer program applications, knowledge, and skills
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care
Preferred
Minimum of (2) years' experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion Services experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products
Experience with information technology a plus
Have a drive for results, competitive spirit, and self-accountability for achievement of company goals
