Luck Companies is seeking a Finance Intern to support the FP&A, Treasury, or Accounting teams during the summer. The intern will assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and participate in projects aimed at enhancing data quality and optimizing reporting functions.

Responsibilities

Supports FP&A, Treasury & Accounting management through the provision of accurate and timely reporting and analysis for the consolidation of the Luck Stone Business Unit. Includes assisting in the preparation of month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation of business unit financials. Prepares summary reports and presentations as needed
Performs ad hoc projects such as financial justifications for capital deployment utilizing NPV, IRR, etc
Participate in projects aimed at automating processes, enhancing data quality, and optimizing reporting functions
Engage in training and development activities to enhance technical and soft skills

Required

Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program related to Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eager to learn and contribute as a member of the team
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive and eager to take on new challenges
Ability to interact effectively with peers and senior team members

Preferred

Previous internship or academic experience in finance is a plus, but not required
Basic knowledge of ERP systems and financial applications is desirable but not required
