Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize backend systems using Java, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different software components
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI elements with server-side logic using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Implement microservices architecture leveraging tools such as Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar frameworks for modular development
Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality and functionality across various environments
Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to promote continuous delivery
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture using UML diagrams and adhere to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Java backend technologies
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and working with JSON/XML data formats
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), multithreading, and application design patterns
Experience working within Agile methodologies using tools like TFS or Jira for project management
Ability to debug complex issues efficiently and implement effective solutions promptly
Preferred
Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular), TypeScript
