Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain detailed technical specs for both infant apparel, baby clothing, and plush toy categories
Evaluate fit, construction, and finishing of samples at all development stages; provide precise comments and corrections to factories
Build and manage comprehensive tech packs, including measurement charts, construction details, CADs, flats, and bill of materials
Liaise directly with overseas vendors to relay corrections, ensure compliance, and follow up on approvals
Partner with design, production, and sales teams to ensure sample readiness for line reviews, buyer meetings, and trade presentations
Support product testing and safety compliance processes, including CPSIA and ASTM requirements for children’s products
Maintain accurate records of product specs, approvals, and changes using Excel, PLM, and internal systems
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and product development
Ability to collaborate across internal teams and global vendors
Create, update, and maintain detailed technical specs for both infant apparel, baby clothing, and plush toy categories
Evaluate fit, construction, and finishing of samples at all development stages; provide precise comments and corrections to factories
Build and manage comprehensive tech packs, including measurement charts, construction details, CADs, flats, and bill of materials

Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking principles, and plush toy manufacturing methods
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop for CADs, flats, and callouts
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for measurement charts, data entry, and tracking
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Clear communicator, capable of drafting accurate comments and corresponding with overseas vendors
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate's degree with 2 years of wholesale imports or related experience; or 3+ years in a wholesale imports or related role
Preferred
Experience with children's wear and toy development
Familiarity with safety/regulatory requirements for children's products (CPSIA, ASTM)
Experience with PLM systems
