Quality Engineer

Marway Power Solutions, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, designs and manufactures power distribution and control systems for defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. The Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering support across the full product lifecycle, ensuring products meet all quality requirements and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process—control nonconforming hardware, lead disposition meetings, and implement corrective actions
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) both internally and at suppliers to achieve timely and effective closure
Ensure that products meet all customer and contractual quality requirements throughout design, manufacturing, and testing phases
Support the interpretation of engineering drawings, military specifications, and customer requirements to confirm compliance and ensure proper flow-down to suppliers
Support supplier and customer quality activities, including audits, source inspections, and performance improvement initiatives
Participate in design and production readiness reviews to identify and mitigate inspectability and producibility issues early
Apply Lean methodologies to reduce risk, improve process capability, and eliminate defects
Maintain quality procedures, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Marway’s 'Zero Defects' quality culture

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline, and 2+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
In lieu of a degree: 5+ years of hands-on quality engineering or manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and MIL-specs
Demonstrated experience with MRB, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality management systems
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Due to the nature of the work and access to export-controlled information (e.g. ITAR/EAR), this position is restricted to U.S. Persons only

Preferred

Experience with APQP or Zero Defects Planning
Familiarity with Defense and Aerospace OEMs (e.g., NGC, Raytheon, Lockheed)
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools
Experience working with special processes such as plating, painting, wiring, or environmental testing
Foster team collaboration, supplier development and with customer engagement experience
