Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. Ensure transparency and integrity of financial reporting
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and comply with regulatory standards. Continuously evaluate and enhance control processes to mitigate risks
Optimize cash flow management strategies to support operational needs and maximize investment returns. Monitor liquidity, banking relationships, and financing arrangements
Oversee tax compliance activities, working closely with external tax advisors. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax laws and regulations
Manage the relationship with external auditors and facilitate the annual financial audit process. Prepare audit schedules, respond to inquiries, and address audit findings in a timely manner
Evaluate and optimize financial systems, processes, and policies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Implement best practices and automation solutions where applicable
Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, motivate and coach team members to achieve results
High integrity, ethical standards, and a commitment to compliance and regulatory requirements
Preferred
CPA or equivalent professional certification
Public accounting experience
Experience in purchase accounting
Experience with financial systems (ERP) (SAP S4 HANA preferred), reporting tools, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
