Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel) and FilamentPHP
Integrate with and extract data from major EHR systems (Epic, ModMed, Athena, Cerner)
Implement and map FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data standards
Work with stakeholders to define technical solutions and system architecture
Perform data modeling, transformation, and mapping to ensure accurate integration and analysis
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and API reliability
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in PHP with strong expertise in Laravel framework
2+ years of FilamentPHP development experience (must-have)
Proven experience building secure, scalable REST APIs
Huge plus if you have an understanding of FHIR standards and experience with EHR integrations
Solid understanding of MySQL, data mapping, and backend architecture
Experience working in healthcare tech environments is a plus
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with GraphQL, Docker, or modern DevOps practices
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy standards
